Hi there!!

Three days without internet and phone... We watched lots of films to entertain ourselves and it was fun, but I'm glad that the net works again. Now I can read the news and gossip and horoscopes again woohoo. I'm such a special creature.

Anyway, I have so much to do for uni already! I'm very well organised and I like to keep things under control, but I dont tend to work well under pressure. I'll do it in my own time, thank you!!! At least I've found a way of not getting stressed; put loud heavy music on my ipod and happily skip down the street ignoring everyone around me. It's great!

So what am I doing at home when theres a million things to do outside, you might wonder... I'm trying to get better cos I've got a cold! Monicas dont stop even when they're sick though, we're just like that.

Ooo I went to see Wolf Creek with some friends, it's one of the most disgusting films I've ever seen and it actually made me feel sick. Blood, fingers flying around, more blood... I had a wonderful sleep after watching it. Another film that makes me wanna puke is The Wall, theres just something about it...

I've had this recurrent thought for a while. It started when I started my last job and even after leaving my job I still feel this way sometimes, especially when I feel free and happy with myself. The thought that comes to my head is being on top of a bridge with the wind blowing in my face, holding out my arms and screaming; and then jumping off the bridge. I'd love to go parachuting! Not too keen on bungee jumps though, somehow they dont seem safe enough and I'd hate to be held by my feet!

Anyway uni was cool today, except for the building in the middle of NOWHERE, I had to walk miles to get the bus home!!! Ok that's partly my fault cos I went the opposite direction to where I should've gone, but still, if I'd known where I was I probably wouldnt have walked so much. Or maybe I would. Maps suck.

Oh dear. One too many late nights, lots of takeaways and lazyness have left me looking less than graceful and I'm not happy about it. But I'm not so bothered as to do something about it either. Maybe tomorrow! Woohoo I'm off uni today so I decided to be a couch potato and catch up with my reading (horoscopes, hair products and gossip). I'll also update my ipod cos my taste for music changes quite often! I had also planned to go for a ride on my bike but it's raining mean weather!!!

We had to interview someone in our course with a set of questions that we were given by the professor and I have a feeling that my answers made me sound like a complete nutter. Luckily I didnt have to read them out loud, probably cos I hid everytime he picked someone to read their answers.

Humm I'm gonna get my hair done and as my mate Connie said, look like a giant galaxy bar! Or maybe a giant strawberry starbust if I can find pink dye! mwahaha I feel hyper today!! Might be cos I finally got my student loan, or cos I took very expensive vitamins this morning, watch my concentration in the lessons now, ha!!

Woohoo the weekend's upon us and we finally get to rest! Sleeeep... !!! I've also used the spare time to sort out some winter stuff, I love scarves and hats! Gloves get on my nerves a little cos they just get in the way, but scarves are so practical! They can be classy or hippie, which is cool.

Anyway I met more people at uni, so far so good. And errm *ahem* just so we're clear on this, I'm very clever! Only 40 people out of hundreds and hundreds got into the course, and I was one of them. I'm not being cocky though, I'm just proud of myself for managing to come out at the top. Tee hee!

Today's song is 'Flake' by Jack Johnson! This song reminds me of Rio de Janeiro... standing on a balcony looking over Copacabana beach, the beautiful palm trees and colourful birds; and drinking fruit juice while the sun shines on your face and you feel so free and happy and just...breathless.

Ahh if only everyday was like today life would be so easy! But unfortunately from next week life will be busy and err normal, tut tut. Why is life so stressful? We should all walk around barefoot with flowers on our hair and birds on our shoulders! I'm not stoned, I just think there's more to life than responsibilities and worries! Lets all become hippies man!!

You know what else sucks? Making decisions! I used to be right most of the time but then I kinda stopped thinking things through and made some stupid decisions. Life is too short so you should just do everything you wanna do! No regrets! Whats done is done and its in the past so theres no point thinking about what could've happened if you'd done things differently. Everyone is a bit of an idiot so if you screw up, which you will, get over it and dont do it again!

I've been invited to a gig tomorrow night so that should be fun! It'll be in a little place I used to go to when I was younger, great for making me miss the past, again.

Humm it was...interesting. A bit weird I dunno... guess I need time to get used to it again. I got up early and felt all fuzzy as I walked towards the building cos I hadnt been there in almost a year, I kinda missed last year and my mates, and for the first time I regretted leaving! I better stop being all soppy, eugh! But its true, its like a new phase is beginning and I'm really gonna miss the past few months... it always makes me smile when I think of all thats happened.

I met a few girlies, should be fun getting to know them! Ok so we're not into the same type of music and lifestyle, but I've got my friends who do so its all good!

There's so much to dooo! Every time you get slightly stressed time seems to fly by and you end up not doing half the things you wanted to do.

I'm gonna go have a relaxing bath and enjoy my last few hours of being a lady of leisure. I'm gonna miss it, it's been good I did get bored out of my mind at times, but I also made good use of the free house so it's all good!

Well theres not much to say! When I started uni last year (and left after 2 months cos I didnt like the course) I was really excited, but this year I'm just scared cos if I hate the course I'll have to stick at it anyway haha I'm not waiting another year to start something else, no way!!

Hiya!

Last night was fun! It started when I gave the taxi driver the wrong number for Cleo's house and he got slighlty annoyed at me. We went for a little bite before the gig and it was soooo cold! I'm not complaining cos I like cold, but it came so suddenly that I wasnt prepaaaaared!! But anyway after that we went to see Juliette and the Licks and it was really good! Except for the mental girls throwing beer everywhere, Connie was soaked! Eugh. Yes I do feel a bit crap this morning.

The weathers crap today so I'll do stuff around the flat, like finish my Wardrobe Project! I'd make a great interior designer I'm scared of using the microwave since the firework display I created inside it. Humm...

Oh Christ I almost exploded my kitchen earlier! I secretly melt the butter in the microwave so its easier to spread it on my toast... but I didnt realise that this butter had foil in the wrapper... I just heard a noise and saw rays of fire around the inside of the microwave and the wrapper burning Oops. I had to tell Andy about it and he wasnt very pleased to find out that I melt the whole butter when I wanna use it. There you go, that's my daily achievement: burning things again and being told off.

I'm gonna see Juliette and the Licks tonight! It'll be fun to see my girl friends. Uni starts next week!! I will no longer be a lady of leisure then! I've completely wasted a whole year! Didnt learn to play the guitar, didnt do any short courses, only got 1 job and left after 3 months, didnt find my vocation in life, didnt get my driving license, went slightly off the rails... at least I learnt how to cook. And lost weight. And grew up as a person as I had several spiritual epiphanies

Hello there,

Yesterday I went to the supermarket and as always, I weighed myself on the scales by the beauty section...humm I've put weight on! I cant say I didnt see it coming though; cheesecake, takeaways, doughtnuts, cookies, muffins, hot chocolate with marshmallows, ahhhh they're sooo good Why is it that people are so obsessed with being thin nowadays? It's all a conspiracy, the fashion designers, the weightwatchers thing, people have to control what they eat or they wont fit into the tiny clothes that u find in the shops. But I think that as long as you dont eat like a horse, cut out chocolate and crisps and opt for rice instead of chips and grilled instead of fried, you're healthy and probably not fat Ahhhh! But if you're as lazy as me and the only exercise you get are the bouts of madness in the afternoon that make u dance like an idiot in your living room, you should probably limit your food intake to 3 meals a day, munch on dried fruit and cherry tomatoes if u must snack, and throw in some vegetables, fruit and tons of water into your diet! Ooo look at me pretending to be a nutritionist.

Why do parents like to watch ancient home videos when old friends visit? And why, oh why do they keep horrid pictures of you as a baby (most probably naked) with nice pictures and then show them to guests? And school plays?!?! It's probably my fault for wanting to be in every bloody play/dance/choir. I was probably the only kid wearing a Pierre Cardin dress at a school concert when I was 5!!

I've had a very unproductive day, what a shame.

Hellooo there, I'm back!! Missed me?? Of course you did.

The wedding was really pretty, it was nice going away. I still dont like trains though! The way there was ok, but the way back was very uncomfortable! I was in a mood and I think *ahem think* that I took it out on Andy a bit? Oops.

The best quotes from the weekend are "If it's not screwed down, it's going in my bag" and "How much do you think I could get for a bible on eBay? Can I have yours? I might get more if I sell them in bulk".

It was fun having a race down the hotel corridors and almost running into a door! And Andy locking me out the room and taking a picture of me sticking my tongue out through the peephole! Ooo ooo and having a piggy back ride back to the hotel It was good to let myself go for 3 days but now I'm back to my normal ways!

Right lets catch up on the gossip... Me and Andy went to the cinema the other day to see The 40 Year Old Virgin, its really funny in a desgusting kinda way! Some idiots were throwing things at us and I no longer have the patience to deal with retarded kids so I complained to the staff and got the kids kicked out, but one of them got so angry that he threw his drink at us and grabbed Andy's neck!!! Wtf?!?!?! Honestly, whatever happened to throwing popcorn and hiding? I mean, if u throw something hard at my head u cant expect me to be ok about it, especially if u hit Andy!! Anyway, should teach the little bastards not to do it again.

Aaand what else have I been up to...Ah! Having tantrums about the state of my flat, it's clean but not Moniclean... Boys and girls living together can be lots of fun, but it can go terribly wrong sometimes cos boys are messy! Good thing we love each other more than anything else in the world... I'm a clean/control-freak, if I was someone else I'd hate to live with me! Sooo keep it tidy or put up with my moaning.

We're going to a wedding this weekend, I'm wearing a gorgeous pink dress and gorgeous silver shoesies with diamonds on the side and sparkly heels, so Sex And The City!

Hola personas!

I slept till late today!! Finally caught up with my sleep mmmm lovely! Bet I wont get to sleep tonight, but nevermind... Andy suggested we have a barbeque so we got up and went to the park, it was fun! Yummy! But as always, there was the not so good side of it - wind and ants!! Honestly, I put some effort into looking like Heidi for the romantic bbq and end up looking like I've been driving a convertible car a la Bridget Jones! Nonetheless it was fun and we'll be doing it again soon.

Hiya,

I'm in such a good mood today! Spent all day shopping in town with my sister and then got my hair done! Anyone who knows me knows that I love getting my hair done!!! And I do it quite often cos I get bored of the same look for too long, hehehe.

Sooo yesterday I made 2 cakes, a fairy cake and a chocolate cookie cake...me and Alex ate the whole fairy cake in like 2 seconds and most of the other cake is still there, all hard and cold now... might be cos I didnt put sugar in it... but oh well next time I will. Learn with your mistakes, right?!

It's funny how when you're growing up you scratch and bite your siblings, but as you get older you start to get on with them so well that you just wanna hug them forever, or is that just me? Tee hee!
