Well we're 5 hours away from 2006 and I'm slowly getting excited! Just came back from the firework display, it was quite pretty! 
So, my best memories from this year are:
* moving in with Andy
* dying my hair pink
* getting a fringe for the first time in 10 years
* being thinner than ever! (although it only lasted a few months)
* starting a course I like in uni
* making new friends
* starting my first proper job
* quitting my first proper job
* feeling free and independent
* travelling a lot
* having spiritual epiphanies
I'm sure I'm leaving several things out... and bad memories I'd rather forget about. 
New year's resolutions: becomer a bit stronger and stand up for myself more, in other words become a bit of a bitch, and to be girly again All other resolutions are unrealistic, I'm not gonna stop biting my nails, start thinking before I speak/act, and start living in the same planet as everyone else. Being spontaneous and perhaps slightly crazy is a good thing man!! 
OK enough nonsense. The songs that remind me of things that happened this year are 'beating heart baby' by Head Automatica, 'wake me up when september ends' by Green Day, 'momo' by Andrew, 'mr brightside' by The Killers, 'coming around' by Juliette And The Licks, 'ravenous' by Finch, 'let there be love' by Oasis, 'bet you look good on the dancefloor' by the Arctic Monkeys and errrm lots more but I'm gonna stop here.
