Mad weekend

by sweetymon @ Sunday, Jan. 29, 2006 - 21:15:33

Oh what a delightful weekend I've had! Here are the best quotes, you probably wont understand them but nevermind.

* "I shall call you flossy, and you shall be my flossy!"
* "You could rip my leg off and use it as a giant toothpick"
* "I like chunky furniture, it makes me feel like a Polly Pocket"
* "That's some crazy... sheet!!"
* "Shit." *get shouted at* "Fine... merda."
* "Stop! It's maniculous!'
* "Ahhhh... burning... freezing... burning... freezing"
* "Handle, my kettle Andrew is too hot"
* "Larfin..."
* "I had a friend called Lavin once"
* "That's contagious laughing water... she's diseased!"
* "I think I'd like mushy peas" "Well you like peas...and you like mush so..."
* "That's a very bag attitude young lady!"
* "DKNY...Donkey Kong New York"
* "You're not doing it right, you're running sidewards"

Oh wonderful! :)) Will have to do it again soon. Also, the cheapest form of entertainment is phoning up Domino's to complain about their >:XX service. Even the free pizzas go wrong. Remember that.

Ooo and friday night was fun! Bumped into some old mates from school, it was great to see them again!! :yes:

Today's quote is 'That's some crazy shit' by Andrew - yes the kettle.

Lazy Girl

by sweetymon @ Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2006 - 21:05:06

I think I should publish a book called 'A Lazy Girl's Guide to Liverpool'. Yes, it's a very old city with lots of dodgy old pavements (which are NOT heel proof) and pretty buildings, with several flights of stairs. However, just because they're there it doesnt mean you have to use them!! Instead of walking up the stairs, go into Boots and use the escalators, which may take you a little bit longer but it's well worth it. I'll come back with more ideas on how to be graciously girlie instead of objectively butch soon. :yes:

Been back in uni this week and already feeling the pressure, but I said the same thing when I started in September so I'm sure I'll get over it again!! I always do. Not much can get a rise out of me, except dirty feet on the couch. :## I attempted to avoid stress as I often do, by ignoring it instead of facing it... but unfortunately there werent any interesting destinations on the train station board! :)) Sooo I shall have to stay here and just go to gigs and see my friends and spend time with lovely people to take my mind off >:XX uni work until the next holidays. Which is exactly what I did last night! And almost got to drive everyone home cos I didnt have anything to drink but the driver came to his senses before we got to the car park. Oh well. :roll: Will have to order a few more bottles of wine next time.

Today's song is 'crescer e aceitar' by Aditive, a Brazilian band. And today's perfum is Emporio Armani White, keeps me sniffing my wrist all day. Gorgeous. ;D

R.I.P. Sausage and Mash

by sweetymon @ Friday, Jan. 20, 2006 - 14:19:02

My (ok ok, Andy's) fishies died. Mash was dead when I got home but Sausage slowly got worse and I just had to watch him suffer and couldnt do anything to help him. :'( I hate it when animals die, it's really sad. Especially when you know they're dying and you cant help them. Oh and yes I will make sure my next fish's initials arent S and M. Only noticed it yesterday, nevermind. :|

So! On a happier note, my exams have finiiiiished!! Wooo I'm so happy! Had originally planned to go out and have a few drinks and forget all about the exams, but I'm gonna meet my friend's new boyfriend so I'm gonna have to drink sensibly. Me sober = say the wrong things at the wrong time with the wrong people. Me slightly merry = same thing but 10 times worse. Not a good first impression.

Did anyone watch Tony Blair Rock Star last night? When I saw that he was a Marxist I couldnt help but laugh hysterically. Omg I'm gonna be the next Prime Minister. The first nice woman PM. Watch me. :)) (look at 'exams and backup plans')

Anyway, today's song is Protocol 'she waits for me' mwahaha happy song! :D

Stirred, not shaken

by sweetymon @ Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2006 - 17:45:32

Hello bloggers,

Still got 2 exams left... been really busy with trips to the library, reading books and trying to squeeze some info into my head! Which has been slightly hard cos I really couldnt give a >:XX about it. You either like people or you dont, no amount of theory is gonna change that. So if you dont like your managers, get over it and get on with your work or get another job where you like the manager more.

Anyway, cant wait to go out with my mates when all this is over! Getting a bit depressed at the thought of having to do the whole exam thing twice a year though, graaah. :## Quickly going through the incense pack and becoming immune to it now!! Must buy more, stronger incense.

I had sushi today. Yum. I love the little ones with cucumber and peppers. And yes I carefully picked the rice around the big ones with tofu, the stuff makes me nauseous... (says the girl who used to eat raw fish) :roll: Oh and just in case you were wondering what the tag is about, I prefer my martini stirred, not shaken like Mr Bond. Pointless info No. 197.

Today's song is 'boyfriend' by Ashlee Simpson! :yes:

Exams & Backup Plans

by sweetymon @ Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006 - 11:45:44

Hello hello :wave:

Let the exams commence! My lack of motivation and low concentration span got together and gave my conscience cookies to persuade it into the dark dark side of lazyness. HOWEVER I was revising like a maniac until the early hours of err today and got up early to revise more but I've really had enough now. Really. What motivated me? The fact that if I pass the exams I will have a reason to celebrate, which is always great fun. If I fail, on the other hand, I have backup plans.

1. form a girl band with my uni mates if we all fail
2. win the lottery and become a socialite
3. sell beads in thailand!!! ;D OR
4. become a social theorist like Marx and get kicked out of countries for expressing my opinion in the form of raw cristicism towards society in general

Even though all the above sound really nice, hopefully I wont have to do any of them cos tbh this is my real backup plan. I'm living it now. Anyway everyone has to put up with >:XX even when they're doing something they enjoy. I loathe revision and find exams useless and obsolete but I'm gonna love the partying when all this is over!! :P

Today's song is OMG I cant think of one!!! Ok today's book is Organising and Managing Work. That'll do.

Jaded

by sweetymon @ Monday, Jan. 09, 2006 - 10:57:07

Oh no!

I slept loads at the weekend and I'm still tired. It's probably the stress of exams, just the thought makes me wanna curl up into bed and get all snuggly. :yawn: *memories* I could pretend that I'm tired because I've been psychotically revising but that would just be lying wouldnt it?! No need to tell porkies...

Ooh some people deserve being mentioned on my modish blog! Thanks to Maria for driving miles to bring my fave cake round :>> thank yoooouu you made my day! Also thank you Andy for taking me out, it was fun yum ;D. Aaaand happy birthday to my mates Vanessa, Jenny and Jenna :wave: And a big hug to my friend Cleo.

I better go and revise. Seriously, the dates are creeping upon me and making me wanna heave. And it's not helping that I ran out of incense so cant chill out with its lovely scent :o Must buy some more asap.

Today's song is 'you only live once' by The Strokes! Horray!

Hey Bob

by sweetymon @ Wednesday, Jan. 04, 2006 - 17:40:22

There's a week left till my exams start. :wave: So not in the mood to go to the library/read boring books/revise/sit still and write non stop for 2 hours. And do all that 4 times. Are you depressed yet? Good.

The new year started off ok for me, I've been keeping up my resolutions so far! :)) Even got a nice new haircut to compliment the girly image. What do you mean girls dont wear tatty nail varnish and smudged eyeliner? :o Tisk.

OMG I almost caused an accident on the M60 yesterday... I accidently threw my purse at the driver when we were just getting into the motorway and he had to stop and reach for it under his seat and give it back to me. I guess clumsiness isnt one of the things I'm giving up this year. No just yet. I can hear Andy say 'Oh Momo' in a disappointed but thrilled voice! :>>

Anyway, today's song is 'break the night with colour' by Richard Ashcroft. :yes:

Love,

Mon xx
