Oh joy!!

Just had my last lecture! I'm so ecstatic, and proud of myself for managing to pretty much finish a year at uni! Ok ok I might just be jinxing myself here, but there's only a couple of assignments and a few exams left to do, and then 4 months off!!! Wow! Can't wait.

I'm planning on working out loads over the holidays, and training for Race for Life! Me and Cleo wanna prove to people that we are capable of running 5k. Ok maybe it's not exactly the point of this race, but it's motivating us! We also wanna contribute towards cancer research obviously.

Ooh there are so many bands I wanna see. Andy's taking me to see the Foo Fighters and The Strokes in June, it'll be great! Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins YUM! Haha bet he wont take me after he reads this.

Anyway I'll save some of my happiness for tomorrow night! Today's song is 'cross out the eyes' by Thursday, they're also playing soon!

Hiya,

I've just had my hair done and I'm not very happy with it. Seriously, my hair looks like Eva Longoria's, shiny brown with volume, which would look great in a John Frieda advert, but not on me, nuh uh. It's either curly with volume or poker straight. No grey area!

Anyway, I've had such an unproductive day! Had a big scare earlier though; I fell asleep on the couch and when I woke up my left eye was so blurry I couldnt see anything. Ahhhh! But It's fine now. Scary, man!

I've been trying to figure out what the perfum I've got on (Curious by BS) reminds me off, I just cant remember though. Here's a list of perfums and what they remind me of:

Wooo I did it! The presentation wasnt as bad as I thought it'd be. I still would have rather jumped out of a plane than done it, but nevermind. I think people liked my empty bottle of South African wine as a demonstration of South African culture heheheh yes I'm weird.

Me and Kelly tried to avoid a teacher cos we missed his lecture but unfortunately he saw us so we ran away and I hid in a little corner, to which Kelly shrieked 'Noooo that's his office!' haha. So we carried on walking round the building and waited about 5 mins before going back downstairs. THEN Kelly walks into the teacher when he's coming out the room... Yea I felt like we were 13 yr old high school girls all over again, but it was bloody hilarious!

Soooo today's song is 'signals over the air' by Thursday. This song reminds me of last night, had a lovely time!

Aaahhhhh!! I have to do a presentation in front of several people this afternoon. God help me. I am an appalling public speaker, kinda like Bridget Jones but this time I have to talk about the culture of South Africa. I'm taking a picture or Charlize Theron just for fun! And I wasnt joking when I said I'd go to the pub before the presentation, but the other members of the group seemed to find that funny. A little bit of dutch courage never hurt anyone!

Had a lovely weekend, Andy took me to Frankie & Benny's and made me (yes, he MADE me!!) have a huge banoffee sundae, it was really gorgeous! And then we went to see The Ringer, very random film but quite funny! We had to wait for a taxi for an hour though, standing outside in the rain at 11:30pm isnt exactly a pleasant experience but nevermind...listenning to Andy shout abuse at the taxi company was amusing!

Ok I know they split up a little while ago but Andy's just decided to wind me up by playing 'another one bites the dust' by Queen... I'm gonna have to play that song when more members of his fave bands, i.e. Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, AC/DC and The Who die.

Today I dismantled a book in the library. It wasnt my fault though, I just picked it up and random bits of it started falling!! So I put it back together, kinda...put it back on the shelf and ran away. Me and K did a terrible job at being subtle, we just laughed our heads off for ages.

Sooo I've already got a song for today... erm ok song number two is 'the immigrant song' by Led Zeppelin, courtesy of Andy the fajita man/alarm murderer, which by the way is now working again! When I grow up, I wanna be John Bonham. Or Keith Moon. Except for dying really young of course!

I just made myself a gorgeous cup of coffee, with whipped cream and chocolate powder and everything! Wooohhh!

So tired. Got a very busy weekend ahead, 1 essay and 2 presentations due in on monday. I may flee to the Fiji islands. Humm *ponders*

Off I go to another statistics lecture. Seriously, it's just nonsense now.

I was in bed about 9:30 when some bastard rang the bell rather annoyingly, twice. I ignored it cos I thought it was just the builders working upstairs again. Then I heard someone say Andrew's name and remembered that he's been waiting for his new mp4 player... so I ran to the door and started screaming 'Nooo dont gooo I'm Andreeeew'. Then I notice the delivery man is actually going upstairs and is standing a few feet away from me, he wasnt the guy who had just turned the corner... so he goes 'You're Andrew?' I said 'Yes that's for me!' And he asked me to sign then said 'Cheers Andrew'... to make the situation worse, I had to open the very hard plastic box to make sure it was the right product otherwise Andy would've killed me. And I was in pjs, with mad hair.

I hope that makes sense, I'm incapable of telling stories usually. Nonetheless, it was very funny. But! How many girls are called Andrew???

Hi there!

I havent posted for a few days. I found a new cure for statistics-lecture-related-boredom-that-leads-you-to-fall-asleep... extra strong mints! HaHaHaHaHa!!! It's brilliant, and it's been approved by Rachel and Emily, the other sufferers of this horrible disease! Doesnt make the lecture more interesting but at least we dont fall asleep.

I've had a very productive day. I went to lectures and made notes () and walked instead of getting the bus to burn some calories. And bought a new mascara, it's lovely! I'm in a girlie mood today. Oooo and my calendar arrived!! Yes at the end of March, so?!?! It snowed earlier. Raaaandooom.

Raaaah!! More work work WORK to hand in soon. Once again I find myself listenning to inspirational music and writing songs whilst relaxing to the smell of white rose incense (it's for peace) instead of doing an assignment. Will have to finish the assignment before the weekend though, it's gonna be quite busy and fun!

So! Booked a practice room to have a little jam later, hate that word. When the guy asked if the band had a name I said 'erm yea, the polka dots'. The Polka Dots. . Who wants to bet that Andy the drummer/smoke alarm murderer/fajita loving guy will not be standing next to me when I tell the practice room person that we're The Polka Dots? Humm...

Oh yea I'm very upset actually, I've lost my Guatemalan worry doll! Must've thrown her off somewhere when I was changing the bed. If you find Francis, please send her to me!!!

Taaaaa Daaaa!!!!!!

This is my 100th post, which comes almost a year after I started inflicting my random thoughts and er, well, shite really, upon the world. Do I get to light a candle and blow it?! I will anyway! I'd like to thank the people/things that get a rise out of me, without you I wouldnt have much to rant about.

Anyway, what a horrid day! Cold, wind, rain...all put together just to disturb me. I do feel bad when I complain about the excessive rain cos there are people dying in Africa due to the lack of it, and here I am whining about it once again.

I fell asleep in the lecture today, twice actually. I had to pretend I was resting my head on the seat when really it just hit the back of the seat when I fell unconscious. Ah well.

Today's song iiiiis...let me think about it. It has to be special. Ooo I know! I'll pick my favourite out of all the ones I've mentioned so far. 'Letters to You' by Finch, not exactly my favourite but I'm still mourning their split *sniff*. Ok so that was pointless, but I did mention on the 1st post that I dont think ideas through!!

Oh come on! I was waiting for the bus for 40 minutes and it never came so I decided to get on the first bus that stopped otherwise I'd never make it in time for my lecture. The thing is, this other bus went the wrong way and I never made it to the lesson. Seriously... Should've just stayed at home doing some work instead.

So, had a lovely weekend. Spent most of saturday sleeping and watching films, and went to Wales on sunday. Yes it was raining. Yes I saw lots of sheep. Bah!

Andy, yes the guy who obsessively likes fajitas, set off the smoke alarm whilst cooking them and tried to stop it by viciously whacking it with a mop. We have very high ceilings so nothing else would reach. And he told me off for not helping waft the smoke away "with a towel or something"...I did try but as soon as he came out with that mop I had to run away in fear that pieces of the smoke alarm would fall and hit me in the head! Poor smoke alarm, I can still hear it screeching in my head. And then Andy had the decency of saying "I think I broke it".

That's some crazy shit.

Oh. Dear. God. It's pretty much the end of the week and I havent done anything useful. It's amazing how quickly the week goes when you have lots to do but cant be bothered doing anything. Humm I think there may be a conspiracy behind this whole thing.

Well since I had too much fun during the week playing guitar, watching trashy daytime tv, talking to people on msn, reading blogs, reading gossip on handbag.com, taking pictures of the snow, committing sins (sloth and gluttony), and other things which will not contribute towards getting my degree at all, I suppose I better do some work soon. Or not, whatever.

I'm gonna make fajitas for dinner. Hahahahaha?!?! Fajitas Andy, fajitas!!!
