Jesus and Jelly Bobs

by sweetymon @ Wednesday, May. 31, 2006 - 22:00:37

Hello dears,

I went to see The Da Vinci Code and quite liked it! It was a bit random at times, like "Omg you're related to Jesus!" but it was interesting. And I've added the name Silas to my baby names list, not that I'm planning on having any children in the next 10 years, but I like pretty names! :D Oooh I had lots of jellies in the cinema, hadnt had any pick and mix for years so decided to get loads of jelly bobs. I know they're jelly beans, but they look like my little Bob (my hamster), so they shall now be called jelly bobs by me! ;D

I was sitting at the table eating my mom's delicious chicken with mushrooms and tomatoes on white sauce *drools* and from across the room she says "How's the chicken little fringes?". I know that by "little fringes" she meant Dougal from The Magic Roundabout, everytime it's on tv she goes "Oooh I used to watch that when I was little!" hehehe. I'm sensing a slight randomness here so I'll stop now. See Denis, I'm being sensible again! :b

Today's song is 'adventure' by Be Your Own Pet! I looove the girlie's hair, so feminine yet effortless!

I'be fine-d!

by sweetymon @ Tuesday, May. 30, 2006 - 16:18:12

What a jolly day. I had sushi for lunch! :D 2 tuna and salad rolls, 4 little cucumber, salmon and pepper rolls and 2 rice rolls to be precise. I chucked the 'japanese omelette' as it looked like a tiny Spongebob and it tasted like sweet soggy bread! :-/

Anyway, last night my mom made some Vicks Vaporub and put it in two bowls, covered mine and my sister's head with towels and made us sniff it. :!: We've already started spreading the disease so she decided to take action! Awww how cute. ;)

My arms and back are finally back to normal after my clever idea of trying to do push ups and sit ups without warming up first. ;D They really hurt!!

Right I'm gonna find something useful to do. I keep thinking there must be something I've gotta read or a book I have to return to the library, but NOPE I'm all free!

Today's song is 'big balls' by ACDC. Yea I'm taking the piss! Depraved lyrics!

Otorhinolaryngology issues!

by sweetymon @ Sunday, May. 28, 2006 - 20:24:52

I feel incredibly >:XX today! Not in a hungover way though, but in a chest pain, sore throat, lots of sneezing kinda way. :( I should probably blame the freezing wind last night when I was walking home at 1:30am after getting on the wrong bus. Dont worry, I phoned mommy and daddy was there to pick me up in less than 2 minutes! Thank God for parents!! :o Walking that late on the grass surrounded by garages can hardly be described as 'safe'!

Actually, I could also blame this state that I am in on the cinnamon shot I had. But to my defence I didnt know that it was cinnamon when I bought it, the bar guy just asked what colour I wanted and I said pink, but they didnt have pink so red was the closest option. I am aware that I sound quite retarded here, but it was a top night! Hehe...yummy chinese food, lots of lovely drinkies and dancing...horrah! Even saw some things I'd never seen before; yes I mean you puking in a little dark corner! Otherwise known as drunken misconduct, tisk!

Today's song is 'the perfect gift' by Hundred Reasons.

Milkshaking ice cream

by sweetymon @ Saturday, May. 27, 2006 - 11:06:03

"I'm gonna milkshake an ice cream and make a dessert, do you want some?"

That's what my mom said so me at dinner last night! :>>
We had to ask her if she was milking a cow, or if she'd left the ice cream stick in the blender cos the noise it was making was rather loud and weird! My mom's great. No wonder all her students love her and she gets tons of kit kats and fruit every lesson. :))

Today's song is 'the truth about heaven' by Armor for Sleep. Awww. "I’d trade in forever to just hear you say the sound of my name."

Must be genetic

by sweetymon @ Tuesday, May. 23, 2006 - 22:59:32

My lovely sister decided to revise out loud on my bedroom floor; she's got an RE exam tomorrow, or indeed like my mom called it, ER. "Go revise for your ER exam!", I wouldnt wanna be her guinea pig, again. So I'm here chatting away on msn when all of a sudden I hear "I Alex, do take thee Monica, to be my lawful wedded husband. To have and to hold from this day forward; for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us apart." What?!?!?!

And she was going on about homosexual charity...but she meant chastity, she just couldnt read her own writing. :)) I love my mini me!

Night night :)

Exercise hurts

by sweetymon @ Tuesday, May. 23, 2006 - 17:05:00

Oh dear God, my poor muscles. After weeks of no physical exercise (note: physical exercise. Plenty of mental exercise took place during exams.) I did a couple of hours at the gym and I'm so tired. Probably didnt help that I had a yoghurt and a banana for lunch, come on! That's hardly even classed as food, never mind "lunch". Got a lovely croissant after the gym though, I reckon all food should be wrapped in pastry. It's soooo good. :)

Already got a song for today but here's another one: 'Iris' by the Goo Goo Dolls. Horrah! Lovely lyrics. :**: ---> Never used this face before.

Oh, it was boiled

by sweetymon @ Tuesday, May. 23, 2006 - 09:24:12

Oh My God. I think I might've crossed the line between lovable clumsiness and idiocy. Yesterday morning I saw two eggs on a plate by the side of the oven and thought "hum, I fancy scrambled eggs". So I tried to break one of the eggs and couldnt, then tried the other side and it still wouldnt break! I was a bit scared of piercing it with my finger in case there was a chick growing inside or something, so I just chucked the egg and got other eggs from the box... up to there, normal person who wants eggs and cant break them!

So we're all sitting around the table having dinner and I was telling Alex and Andy about the obnoxious egg and they thought it was a bit weird. A little while later my dad goes "I made a boiled egg and tomato sandwich this morning for my lunch and it was really nice". Ahhhhh  *something clicks in my head*. Boiled eggs. Alex and Andy started laughing at me, then I eventually told my dad about my cock up and he laughed but was mainly concerned that I wasted a good egg, which he'd left on the side of the oven for me to have for lunch, but I was asleep when he left the house and my sister forgot to tell me so I didnt know. :| *knocks own head against the wall*

Today's song is 'the blower's daughter' by Damien Rice. Thanks Blushgal! :D

Ooh I was tagged by louisa-outram! Hehehe thanks! :D

Right so here's my task, and I hope my mother doesnt read this post.

List ten fictional figures you would sleep with (in no particular order), then tag people to do the same. (Reminder: obviously hypothetical, I know you're freaking out, you! ;))

1. Smith Jerrod from Sex and the City
2. David Bloomberg from Prime
3. Mr Darcy hahaha from Bridget Jone's Diary
4. Will Turner from Pirates of the Caribbean
5. Ethan Hunt from Mission Impossible
6. Alexander from Alexander
7. A.J. Frost from Armageddon
8. Sir William Thatcher from A Knight's Tale
9. Danny Walker from Pearl Harbor
10. Renton from Trainspotting

Bet you're gonna have to imdb most of them! I'm gonna tag Princess_coppelia, Devilish_Jelly_Beanz and rithompson. :))

Ah aaaaaaaah AH!

by sweetymon @ Saturday, May. 20, 2006 - 12:29:23

Hi hi!

Went to see a Led Zeppelin tribute band last night called Letz Zep and they were rather good! The whole night was a bit weird but hilarious really. Andy had no cheese on his cheeseburger so he had to complain. There were still 2 hours to go before the gig so we went to the christian church and it was closed!!! So we just took pictures around a table with a huge cross above our heads. Then we went to a pub for a drink and obviously the mixture of chicken wrap and blue wkd went straight to my head, honestly. I called the waiter "barclar". Some guy pushed me and I went flying into two ladies who luckily saw the evil man pushing me otherwise they would've thought I was drunk and rude. >:XX Oh and the smirnoff with the black label, seriously...what the hell is in that drink?! Tastes like old stale tea. I almost forgot, I walked into the men's toilets! But to my defence, there wasnt a little man sign on the door. Well there was but I didnt see it cos the door was open so I thought I could go in and wait for him outside the proper door. And then Andy said "you could see people peeing from where you were standing!!" And the men did look at me funny. Told you it was a weird night!

Today's song is 'since I've been loving you' by Led Zeppelin. I almost killed them when they didnt play the Immigrant Song, good thing they did in the very very end! Ah aaaaaaaah AH!

Incense for this and that

by sweetymon @ Wednesday, May. 17, 2006 - 20:24:15

I've just been looking at my selection of incense and I found magnolia to give a romantic atmosphere and jasmine to clear tension, but I dont see anything to relieve romantic tension. Maybe if I light both up at the same time? :-/

Just went to see Prime and it's a lovely film, thanks Andy xxx He got the first post-uni celebration! Tee hee he's special. :D

Hi Andy!

Already got a song for today, but the Prime soundtrack is really nice so I'm gonna download some songs.

Freedooooom!!!

by sweetymon @ Wednesday, May. 17, 2006 - 13:07:51

Ok not exactly complete freedom, but I've just finished my last exam so I'm off uni for the summer wooooo, not back till the end of September!!! Yes I'm gonna have to get a job like other students, but at least working doesnt involve writing essays or learning shite to pass exams, yay yay yay!!! :>> Now cant wait to celebrate, I'll have to keep you guys up to date cos this is gonna be good man. ;D

Gonna have to phone up the doctor's and ask if I can drink alcohol whilst taking some stuff he gave me, otherwise sorry medicine but this little girlie will not be deprived of her much deserved fun. Surely my health can wait, the fun will have to come first. So now that we've established that, I'm gonna make sure I find a lovely place to go in Amsterdam, but to be honest if it has pretty landscapes and cute cafés I'll be happy!

I love being free and I have no responsibilities at the moment, nope, none. God it feels great saying that! I can now start a summer diet, I couldnt before cos the exams were more important. And I couldnt break down while the exams were on, but now I can cry my eyes off and write *cough* love *cough* songs about certain people. )-o And watch Will and Grace all day haha!! :lalala:

Today's songs are 'cute without the e' by Taking Back Sunday and 'but it's better if you do' by Panic At the Disco. "Isn't this exactly where you'd like me?" Mixed emotions going on today!

Love and lots of woohoos,

Pretty song

by sweetymon @ Sunday, May. 14, 2006 - 13:29:53

Got a lot of things to say but there's a song I heard in a film on friday night that would say most things for me. :) Lazy blogger.

Still a little bit of your taste in my mouth
Still a little bit of you laced with my doubt
Still a little hard to say what's going on

Still a little bit of your ghost, your witness
Still a little bit of your face I haven't kissed
You step a little closer each day
That I can’t say what's going on

Stones taught me to fly
Love,it taught me to lie
Life, it taught me to die
So it's not hard to fall
When you float like a cannonball

Still a little bit of your song in my ear
Still a little bit of your words I long to hear
You step a little closer to me
So close that I can't see what's going on

Stones taught me to fly
Love, it taught me to lie
Life taught me to die
So it's not hard to fall
When you float like a cannon..
Stones taught me to fly
Love, it taught me to cry
So come on courage
Teach me to be shy
'Cause it's not hard to fall
And I don't wanna scare her
It's not hard to fall
And I don't wanna lose
It's not hard to grow
When you know that you just don't know

Yep it's 'cannonball' by Damien Rice. Hope everyone's having a good weekend!

Skipping in a wheatfield

by sweetymon @ Friday, May. 12, 2006 - 19:08:52

Ok, I was in a happy mood before and I'd written all about my day then somehow the window closed itself and I lost everything. Not a happy bunny!! >:-[ :'(

Basically, I had my last business statistics ever ever today yaaaayyy!!! I never have to worry about it again, until the resits in september that is. My last exam is next week and I'm gonna reward myself with a trip to Amsterdam, but it's supposed to be spontaneous so I'm not gonna think about it till then! Haha as if, cant wait!!! :>> I've mentioned it to my parents so they dont have a heart attack when I say "I'm off to Amsterdam, see you in a few days!" Hi mom, I know you're reading this. ;D

It's so hot and gorgeous today, not even windy! And I can see a bit of a tan already! Gonna have to do something about my hair though, it's too autumny. Maybe I'll get some highlights. *ponders*

Today's song is 'questions' by Jack Johnson! Fantastic summer song, I can imagine myself running through a wheat field in the sun with my sweetheart, wearing a white summer dress and looking radiantly happy. I hope this image makes you laugh as much as it made me. Thinking about it, I just look like Heidi in that picture.

But I dont wanna do iiiiit

by sweetymon @ Tuesday, May. 09, 2006 - 20:34:08

Uh oh I was a bad girlie and went shopping instead of going to the library. No worries though, I am sure my natural intelligence and intense last minute revision will get me through, always have, that's the problem. And anyway, it's not about what I know, it's about how much I can remember from what Thingy and Thingy said in their books, so bloody pointless!! :## Think I'll light up some incense.

Ohhh got a lovely top for the weekend, to celebrate the end of the worst exam, the one that there is no chance in hell I'll ever pass but it should be fun to read the comments on my paper. 'Monica attempted to make an effort, but failed miserably at it.' Ah, yes, Sir. Maybe I should become an actress instead, they dont need qualifications and I have a certain schizophrenic quality. I could pretend to be someone else and everyone would believe me, like on nights out! Except for my mom, she always knows when I'm lying. Shhhh! :>>

It seems this post is rather random so I'll end it here! Today's song is 'nobody puts baby in the corner' by Fallout Boy.

Keep quiet,
Nothing comes as easy as you.
Can I lay in your bed all day?
I'll be your best kept secret
And your biggest mistake.
The hand behind this pen relives a failure every day.

Ooh ooh, ooh ooh, ooh ooh, ohh ohh

by sweetymon @ Monday, May. 08, 2006 - 11:42:53

I've just been having laughing fits as I remembered more things that happened on saturday night... The stranger guy, Cleo told him I was a man eater and he asked me to eat him and moved his neck towards me, I can now see him pointing at his neck and saying 'go on, eat me'... He asked why I was shy, to which I replied 'I'm not drunk enough' so he offered me his beer and I said 'Actually, I'm too drunk'. And I had my M necklace on and told him my name was Hanna?! :>

I finally finished and submitted my assignment! Now I shall treat myself with either chinese food or liquor cherry bon bons, ooh! Or both!!

Today's song is 'gold lion' by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, lovely song! Take our hands out of control :( Build a fire when the colour's getting brighter...

Hungover, bored and excruciating essay

by sweetymon @ Sunday, May. 07, 2006 - 14:53:04

Well well, where should I start?! Last night Cleo and me, or indeed Freddie and Jeff (our new fake names) went out and I think we might just have topped the craziness scales. Dont believe me? She had a conversation with a stranger, here's more or less how it went:

Stranger: Is your boyfriend here?
Cleo: You mean my fiancé.
Stranger: Do you have a fiancé, Hanna? Is Hanna your real name?
Me: Yea it is. I dont have a fiancé.
Stranger: Boyfriend?
Cleo: Her boyfriend is in counceling cos she locked him in the cupboard.

Ahh, we do have fun, we're so mean to guys in clubs. :)) My hair was getting a bit puffy from all the heat, then I saw vaseline in my bag and something told me to put it on my hair. It was a lot of fun washing it off this morning, thank God for purifying shampoo!! |-|

After 4 hours sleep we got up and I went to the library, you've gotta admire my effort! Less than 24 hours till the assignment has to be handed in and I havent even got 200 words yet. Good God.

Today's song is 'when the sun goes down' by the Arctic Monkeys. I know I've had this song before but it reminds me of last night and it feels great listenning to it today, makes me wanna run off to one of the islands me and Cleo were watching on Sky Holidays this morning and forget all about this cruel cruel essay.

Absent minded

by sweetymon @ Thursday, May. 04, 2006 - 22:59:13

I've just realised that I've been staring at a book for ages but was thinking about something completely different. Then suddenly, CLICK, I came back to earth hehehe. Anyway, for the purposes of randomness, here's something I wrote about someone:

Understatement

I love him…We're the same. He always knows what I'm thinking about...and he always tells me what he's thinking about. It's funny, I can spend a whole day with him and miss him even when he's with me. With one stare he can have me breathless, as if his eyes had the power to make one moment timeless and just...perfect. However bad I may be feeling, one hug from him, or even just the thought of him can make life seem flawless, even if it is only for one minute…It’s priceless. It’s indescribable, the way he makes me feel. The way he turns my world upside down, but with one word he can turn it all around and render the chaos yet another memory which will never be forgotten.

Havent finished it yet. Rather useful for a "World Development" assignment, dont you think?! I'm sure it'll help me get a good grade. I always do that! I either write songs and play them on my guitar or write random stuff, which has nothing to do with my uni essays. Someone called me spoilt so it just hit me that I've gotta stop whining and do some work. Ouch.

Today's song is 'there was a time' by Laura Michelle Kelly. Quite cheesy, I know, but it's so soothing.

Love,

Mon xx

What was I saying just then?

by sweetymon @ Wednesday, May. 03, 2006 - 22:06:38

I was about to count how many words I'd written on my assignment then I realised I had to restart my computer ages ago and havent gone back to it since. :)) Ahhhh screw it.

Just heard a funny quote. "A good friend will bail you out of jail, a great friend will be sitting next to you in jail saying 'ah, that was fun!" haha so true, I can imagine Connie saying that to me. And I have a few ideas as to why we'd be in jail...JOKING!!! :))

Anyway, gonna give this essay another go. I've still got 112 hours to give it in... :zz:

Love,

Mon xx

Here we go again

by sweetymon @ Wednesday, May. 03, 2006 - 19:52:45

Ahhh, the title says everything. Exam time and assignment deadlines again. I got the inspiration I needed to write today, there's something about being extremely down then the reason that got you down in the first place makes you bounce back up, it's weird. Could just be the sunny weather and the muscle aches from going to the gym though. All in all, had a good day.

Got a few songs for today:
1. 'where's the pleasure' by Protocol
2. 'waste a moment' by Fightstar and
3. 'make damn sure' by Taking Back Sunday

Back to work for me, if I dont get the grades I want there wont be any celebrations afterwards, and I'm not gonna let that happen! ;)

Love,

Mon xx
