Whatever needs doing, can wait until tomorrow. Most people wait until sunday to relax, but I'd rather relax on saturdays because sundays are already ruined, as you know you have to be in uni/work/school the next day.

I feel like vodka tonight, vodka tonight

Really dont feel like going out though; still got a cold and it's freezing and raining and I've had a very exhausting week. All I wanna do is have some 'me' time and enjoy it. I'm thinking staying up all night, cocktails a la Mon and some films. Sounds like something Bridget Jones would do, but we all need time off from the world every so often and mine is way overdue!

And besides, me and Rachel have been shopping nearly every day this week; and we're going to a special student night at Topshop soon, so I better save my student loan. And there's also the fact that I've just spent nearly £200 on academic books - clearly a good investment but extremely painful, especially the economics one.

Yippeeee day off!! I've been a good girlie and done lots of things already:

*Made apple pie for dessert tonight - or apple sauce on a flat base, cos I forgot to do the edges...but it's goooood.

*Found a good recipe for shortbread, i.e. the first apple pie base that went wrong. Just need to add more sugar and there - you have some biscuits!

*Sorted out all things uni related, meaning emails and more emails about jobs and tutorials; and decided to buy the new books from the uni bookshop cos I'm too lazy to bid on ebay.

*Had a massive bowl of chocolate nougat cereal for lunch, but I am gonna work out after posting this.

Ahhh, I feel good now. There's only one thing though, why do people you know sometimes wish bad things upon you? Especially when you dont deserve it. Jealousy is a very very ugly thing. I'm running out of patience here, and this person just wont stop and as much as I wanna tell them to , I just havent got the guts. So to you, my dear, here's what I have to say:

I'm gonna cryyyyyy. I hate whining, when I feel like crap I keep it to myself because what's the point in ruining someone else's day? But honestly...

Last night I made the mistake of eating a whole pack of trebor soft mints, and my stomach still feels cold from all the menthol. Been walking up and down the uni (*ahem and shopping*) all day and I'm really worn out. Tomorrow's gonna be busy too, partly my fault for volunteering to be a mentor to a first year student. I just hope he/she is nice; and that he/she gives me chocolate. The lecturer today was pissing me off, really... "Anyone? Anyone? It's gonna be a loooong silence if no one talks. Anyone?" I just wanted to bang my head against the table. It seems like it's gonna be an interesting term though, at least for the feminism and the ethics part - I've just gotta be careful not to be too sarcastic, as in the past this has got me intro trouble. They ask for your opinion and tell you you cant be right or wrong because it's your opinion, so you give your opinion and back it up with evidence and several points, then they fail you because what you said wasnt what they wanted to hear. Hardly sounds ethical man!!!

Ok, quick summary of the day:

*I'd forgotten how much I hate people, especially students, until I walked through crowds of them earlier. They're bloody everywhere, argh!!!

*Marks and Spencer's sushi is delicious and quite cheap!!! Worst part of the day: spilling soy sauce everywhere, and attracting many a person's attention whilst attempting to clean it up.

*All I wanted was to stay in with a nice cappuccino but I did go to a lecture *claps to self*. However, to treat myself for being so good, I went shopping afterwards and got these:

Oh dear God!!! I'm sitting here sniffing some Olbas Oil (had to get a cold before I start uni, must show up on first day back with red nose in reindeer style - very charming) and I've just noticed that the tissue got stuck to, and started melting, my nail varnish!! If this stuff can melt nail varnish, which only comes off with really strong, really smelly nail varnish remover (or so I thought), imagine what it does to your insides!! No wonder the tip of my nose has gone numb. Better go out and get some Lemsip asap.

I wasnt sure whether to have healthy weetabix with fruit and nuts or chocolate nougat cereal for breakfast, so I had half of each. Sounds like a good compromise doesnt it?!

Right it's one of those horrible days so I'll be staying in with my hot drinks and watery eyes and vitamins. I want a snuggle bunny.

I'm sure I'll have plenty more to say later so I'll choose a song for today while I'm watching the music channels. Or maybe I'll unplug everything because I can hear thunder; and the lights keep flashing.

Last night I went out for a meal with my parents and sister; and we all ended up a bit merry which made a great family evening out - we should all definitely have wine everytime we go out. Very nice Australian wine... anyway, I decided to be adventurous and have a chilli (Jake Taylor!!), but I had a veggie one so there were loads of beans and quorn mince, which was really hot but sooo gorgeous!! After the meal my sister went out with her mates so the rest of us went to the casino and I made a £3 profit, not bad huh! Gambling is so not my kinda thing, but vodka with orange is so I had fun.

Earlier when I was in the shower I was thinking about all the things I love and decided to make a list for future reference. When I'm upset, I'll pick one of these to cheer me up:

I used to love mornings...getting up early, sitting on the couch for hours with a hot drink and watching sitcoms, watching everyone go out to work/school and feeling really peaceful. But now, for all those same reasons, I don't enjoy mornings anymore. Still love the freedom of being able to dance around and do useless things while other people are busy with real work, but I'm starting to get bored. Perhaps it's just that it's become so common that I dont appreciate mornings anymore. Actually it seems a bit pointless talking about this now cos it will all be over on monday! Aaaaand it's raining again, which brings me onto my next subject - my hair. It's curly, beautiful but utterly unruly. I'd love it, if it wasnt for the fact that it takes me on average half an hour to make it look ok and then as soon as I walk out the house it goes mental with the wind (it's Liverpool, there's no such thing as a day without wind), and it's so frustrating. Normally I love anything that makes me different from other people, but this one is such a pain in the arse. So next subject, I need a job. As soon as I get one, I can spend a fortune straightening my hair which will save me a lot of time and effort and I'll be able to spend that time and effort on something/someone else, which will make me happier. Anyway, I've gotta be out the house in less than an hour, so I better go tame the mane.

Ahhh Gordon is obviously still affecting this area; when I was out earlier it was so windy that my hair was standing up completely and I looked like someone who'd ran away from a mental institute. Funny image for others I'm sure, but I wasnt that amused. Oh and I bumped into two old mates from school! Nice to see them.

Ooh I found a new smoothie shop when I was lost (thought I was getting somewhere but ended up walking around the block and ending up on the same road...), I'll be going there when I'm in uni cos its really close and it's really yummy!

What else...ah, yes. I'm getting another tattoo soon, cant wait! Has anyone had the back of their neck tattooed? I'm thinking it might hurt more than the one on my back, but it's gonna look pretty. Mom's not happy about it, but it's not like it's gonna be Satan tattooed on my ass, and I havent brought any weird guys home, and I'm half way to fulfilling her dream of having a child with a degree... so she cant complain really, can you Mars? Oh Christ, they warned us there were gonna be strong winds but I didnt think they'd be so strong as to actually move me! Scary... Hmm I'm sitting here with a lovely cup of coffee, dreading going out in the "severe gales" (I'm sure bag shopping with Rachel will take my mind off the weather though!) and thinking...what's the world come to?! They're talking on the news about extremely skinny models and how they're a bad influence for girls; and then they ask for your views on whether being that skinny is acceptable or not. Of course it isnt! If they're naturally tall and thin, good for them; but most of them do starve themselves, which is really sad...part of the job description but nonetheless quite disturbing. So I like the new rule that some guy came up with - they've gotta have a healthy bmi, at least they'll be promoting good health in some way. Humm feeling a bit miffy today. Too many things in my mind and people not cooperating, so frustrating. Feel a bit better now but I'm still not in the greastest of moods. And my hair got stuck to my piercing in the shower, then I accidently pulled it and it hurt like hell. What's that quote from Bridget Jones' Diary, hum... oh, yea - "Fuuuuuuuck". Let me explain. I'm one of those lucky girls, commonly called bitches by other girls, who never get spots. After coming off the painkillers (which btw gave me horrible skin) I got a few spots and decided to use my sister's Freederm on them. First use, good. Used it again and went to sleep. Wake up...oh dear God. My face was patchy and red and it looked like I'd been sunbathing in the sun. So what do I do? I wash it and put more of that stuff on, to get rid of those new spots, even though I now realise that they werent spots, they were rashes. Clever, I know, but I was desperate. Now... all it says on the leaflet is that it's an allergic reaction to an ingredient, but which one?! This shambles better be gone by tomorrow because I've got plans, things to do and people to see. Nice plan, nice things, nice people. Person, really.

Grrrrrr. Why do bad things happen to good people?!

Oh am I glad I dont get bad hangovers! Where should I start...great night last night! "Cinema and a drink", yea right. We did have a drink and next thing I know it's 1:30am, we missed the last bus home and I'm dancing Justin's 'sexy back' in a rather pissed manner. Bumped into a friend I hadnt seen in a couple of years and couldnt remember her name for like an hour. Stole menu from Modo, and I didnt even notice. When there's a drink called Monica, you just have to have it!! The little Monicas were nice too, all coconuty and stuff. Ooh ooh another great choice of film by me btw, Snakes on a Plane. Funnily enough it started the same way that Severance did - with a guy hanging upside down from a tree and yes he was going to die. I pick the best films, but then again who cares about the film when he's sitting right next to you...

So, we had Martinis and a wkd and port pitcher, then Purple Rain cocktails and shots (as with most things I drank last night, I cant remember their names), then the Monicas (ok ok they were called Monica Lewinsky but I'm ignoring that part!), then Pinky Winky and Traffic Light shots, then wkds and a smirnoff I think. The thing is, I licked something off his hand and it was red, but we were drinking blue wkds, so God knows what that was. What else... blur, blur...ah! More blur.

Once again my mom picked me up, and I'm so ashamed that she saw me in that state but apparently it made her happy to see me that happy. I had lots of reasons to be happy, and whatever was on our minds when we met was washed away by those yummy cocktails. And hugs. And scary eyes. And bellies.

I'm gonna go get some breakfast, my stomach's saying "feed me" but my head's violently shouting "I'm gonna throw it up if you do!". Classy, I know. Come to think of it, I think I was still drunk when I woke up this morning...

Me and my mom love shoes and bags. We swapped bags a while ago cos we liked each other's more than we liked our own, but when we were shopping the other day she very subtly dropped the hint that she wanted her bag back, so I gave it back. Now, I was just sitting here reading people's blogs and when I turned around she was sewing the insides of my bag!!

Me: "Mom, are you sewing my bag back together?!"
Mom: "Nah."

She's got a needle and thread on her hand! She also said to me "I've found a stone in the bag, it must be yours!". Yea because I pick up stones outside and put them in her bag. Other things she's got in her bag are a hundred billion pens, a travel chewable toothbrush and a bulb.

Hi everyone,

I helped my friend Kirsty move this morning; and by 'help' I mean I carried two pillows and my mom gave us a lift so we didnt have to get the bus, hehe. After going "ooh", "ahhh", "oh my God!" a few times, we left her new place and went for lunch. And then I had a great idea - I'm gonna get my ear pierced! This is probably the only time I'm gonna be able to say this and not have someone say "but your ears are already pierced". Well now I have 4 earrings on my left ear (3 on the lobe, new one on the cartilage) and one on the right ear, which might have to be re-pierced after having a bandage over it for weeks.

So I got home...

Me: Mommyyy I did something naughty.

Mom: Oook, nothing I can do about it. But I hate it.

Hehehe, at least it's not another tattoo. And at least it takes my mind off the other ear, it's not even hurting anymore! Zero common sense obviously, but it just shows that I'm back to my normal self after my tumour ordeal.
