Graduation treat

by sweetymon @ Tuesday, Jul. 22, 2008 - 15:53:55

So my mum and great-aunty (she is great) gave me a monetary consolation present for finishing uni. My mum nicely added that I should spend it on something "permanent that you can actually see", excluding my hair, tattoos, or a dog. :)) Luckily I knew just what I wanted to do... I've never really liked my teeth so I had them done! They don't look extremely different, but it's one of those things that make all the difference to yourself. I'm happier, and shall demonstrate so by smiling more (with teeth) and not whining about disliking my fangs, as they were filed away and turned into dust. I agree that we should accept ourselves as we are, but if you can change simple little things that you're not happy with, then why not?!

Whoever said money doesn't make you happy... ;)

Love,

Mon xx

Cool what did you have done to your teeth exactly? ;) I didn't notice your teeth before. I am going to Poland soon to get mine analysed for an implant!

My mum told me to go abroad too, it's so much cheaper and you get a holiday out of it! I had my teeth filed cos they were still a bit wavy, you know like kids' teeth when they come through?! :)) I still have one milk tooth, it's quite pathetic and embarassing...

Wow really - snap!! I do too, I am getting it removed, only there is no tooth behind it!! So I am getting an implant - hence Poland!!! It's £800 instead of £2000. Lots cheaper for sure. Problem is the gum needs 6 months to heal after I get the tooth removed!

Oops, I take back what I said about that being pathetic and embarassing lol! That's a massive saving, well worth it. The procedure looks painful but you'll be blissfully drugged, and 6 months will fly by :)

Yes I agree - take them back LOL.

Actually I just found it cheaper here...

It's mad what a difference it makes! Thanks for the website x

It's not a hint ;) It's just were I might go. Nothing is set in stone. I have been invited to Warsaw for the implant and every year I will be seen on Harley Street in London to maintain the warranty!

Anyways, i am bored of talking about my teeth now - they are not so great! I think its too much sugar, possibly too much wine and beer?? Who knows ;)

Oh I avoid dentists at all costs, bad experience as a child left me traumatized so I only go for emergencies/purely vanity reasons it seems :)) Harley Street has a great reputation, that sounds like a good deal too! And if there's a warranty, you can carry on having the sweets and wine! :>>

.. if you feel good, that's all that matters!

Hugh Hefner is living with 4 girls, the oldest is 24y, must be his looks! :)

Donald Trump's wife is half his age, must be his hairstyle! ;)
